Our terms of use
Our Terms of Use are the second part of the Pizzajunkies Policies, while the Community Standards are the first part of them. In addition, our Privacy Policy applies.
When do our Terms of Use apply?
In order to provide our services, features or website, we require your express agreement to our Terms of Use ("Terms"). You agree to our Terms by using or accessing our services. Some of the Terms will continue to apply after any withdrawal or removal.
ARTICLE 1 | ACCESS TO OUR SERVICES
Our services (WhatsApp group, Discord server, community and website) may be accessed by natural persons who are at least thirteen years of age, but not already nineteen years of age, and who have not been excluded from the community. Exceptions to the age limit may be approved by the team on a case-by-case basis. Fake identities (e.g. multiple cell phone numbers, Discord accounts or profiles in our social network) are not allowed. When using our services, you must also abide by the Community Standards as well as addendums to the Community Terms of Use. To ensure this, we may keep your introduction.
ARTICLE 2 | REGISTRATION
We want to make sure that all members of our networks are eligible to be members of our community in order to protect our members and to maintain the basic idea of our community. Therefore, we use introductions to verify that the required age limit is met and that the new member is a natural person. We check this to the best of our knowledge and belief.
ARTICLE 3 | CHARGE
The use of all our services is completely free of charge.
ARTICLE 4 | GRANTING OF COPYRIGHTED USE RIGHTS
We want to avoid that content provided by members is copied or used for own purposes. This applies to text, images, videos and other media.
However, we cannot guarantee copyright protection.
Pizzajunkies may use individual content to promote itself - but this will be announced to the author individually.
ARTICLE 5 | PERMISSIBILITY OF CONTENT
We do not tolerate content that violates our Community Standards. In addition, we must refrain from publishing content that violates laws and is protected by copyright.
In particular, the following content is prohibited:
1) Copyrighted content
2) Insults or untrue facts (about third parties)
3) Violation of third party (data protection) rights
4) Criminal content
5) Contents not suitable for young people
6) Critical content
ARTICLE 6 | VIRTUAL HOUSE RIGHT
According to § 123 StGB (German penal code) and §§ 858, 862 BGB (German civil code) we have the digital house right for all our services and websites.
In case of violations of the terms or by decision of the support, a removal by the administration may be made. In case of a removal from at least one of our communities, the others have to be left.
If the administration is unavailable in the meantime or if the support deems it necessary, the support can exclude individual members from the community. In case of an exclusion from the community by the support, the use of all our services has to be stopped immediately. This means that both the WhatsApp group and the Discord server must be left immediately.
Removals or exclusions are to be understood as a virtual house ban and apply to all our services and websites.
ARTICLE 7 | TAMPERING WITH SYSTEMS
Cyberattacks such as tapping data or collecting information from our members or about us are not permitted. Attempts to tamper with our services or websites are prohibited and would be reported.
ARTICLE 8 | TERMS OF USE OF WhatsApp and Discord
We are subject to the WhatsApp and Discord Terms of Use in addition to our Terms of Use and Community Standards.
ARTICLE 9 | PERMITTED USE OF OUR SERVICES
We provide our services because we want to build a community for young people to meet in a safe environment. Therefore, we do not allow any inappropriate use of our services, for example, for advertising purposes. It is also not allowed to contact other members without their consent, which must be obtained in advance in the group, because we provide cell phone numbers only for the purpose of running the group. This applies in the same way to Discord.
Some channels are offered for certain languages. Please avoid using other languages in corresponding channels.
Consequences of violating the Terms
Violations of the Terms may result in expulsion from the Community as described in Article 6. Temporary expulsions or other actions may be taken as alternatives.
ENFORCEMENT
In case of repeated and / or more serious violations, we may consider further action. Legal problems will be referred to the appropriate authorities.
CANCELLATION AND PRIVACY
If you no longer want to be a PJ member, that's a shame, but we respect your decision. Our terms of use only apply to current members, although copyright protection of content, for example, still applies.

DISCLAIMER | THIRD PARTY CONTENT
We dissociate ourselves from all content published by members and cannot be held responsible for it - the respective member alone is responsible for the content provided by him/herself. This also applies to (external) links on our web pages.
WARRANTY AND LIABILITY
We ask that you notify us of any defects in our services, as we are not liable for them.
CHANGES TO THE TERMS OF USE AND COMMUNITY STANDARDS
We may change the Terms of Use and Community Standards at any time - any changes will be effective immediately without notice.
SCOPE
Our policies apply on WhatsApp, on Discord and in the Community App. If it has not been freely agreed by both members at the beginning of a chat, our policies also apply in private chat.
In the Community App, the policies apply always and everywhere.
DEVIATIONS FROM THE POLICIES
If approved by Support, exceptions may be granted by request in individual cases to temporarily circumvent the Policies. If Support deems it necessary, it may violate the Terms of Use and Community Standards (e.g., unsolicited contact).
Possible language mistakes
It is possible that we made mistakes when creating the English version of the Policies. For this reason it is not possible to refer to it. In case of doubt, the German version of the Policies applies.
